The Amazingly Chic St. Vincent Just Released a Fashion Collaboration

We named her our most stylish queer person in 2018, so we are all about it!

St. Vincent's Annie Clark is extremely chic. We pointed this out back in 2018 when we named her the most stylish queer person of that year. And we think about it every time we see her on stage. Well, it looks like we are getting a chance to have a taste. Kinda.

The rock star today announced that she would be releasing a seven piece capsule collection with Outdoor Voices, a brand known for creating simple, athletically inclined apparel. No, it's not the day glo mini skirt you might find her in for a performance, but it's a hell of a lot more versatile!

"The last tour I did was so physical that I needed to be doing things like cardio and pilates in order to stand and play guitar for two hours a night," Clark told Paper Magazine about the range which has been titled STV.OV. "I found myself for the past few years just in athleisure by default, like many people in our world. Almost every day of my life includes some sort of exercise." So why not dress for that?

The mono chromatic range not only boils things to these simple athleisure pieces but also addresses Clark's concerns after having essentially wear tested the other brands on the market. The pieces include a reversible bra, high-waisted leggings, a slouchy hoodie, tapered track pants, and a stand-out trench coat. We really love to see it.

For the launch (the pieces are already available) Clark released a video that's similar to a new-age infomercial. Models try out various pieces, showing their versatility.

"I am very excited to announce my clothing collaboration [with] Outdoor Voices," she wrote to Twitter. "It may come as a shock to some, but team sports and exercise have been a massive part of my life since I was young. I have tried every manner of exercise clothes and never found the perfect fit or design." Well, you know what they say: when you can't find, make!

Prices start at $55 and go up to $195.
