Levi's Released a Super Mario Collection to Get Your Nostalgia Going

Levi's Super Mario collection.

Ok, but we could go for a bit more Princess Peach representation!

Super Mario fans rejoice: It's now time to wear your favorite characters. In a range released today, Levi's has teamed up with Nintendo's Super Mario on a collection of hoodies, sweatshirts, denim, and even a bandana featuring some of our favorite cartoons.
We go way back with the Mushroom Kingdom, all the way back: way before Smash Bros, to Saturday mornings with those grey clunky Nintendo 69 remote controllers, when you had to blow into the cartridge for dust to make sure things were working right. And we've stuck with it through until now, when all the gays choose either Yoshi, Bowser, or Princess Peach on Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros -- it should be noted that the latter two characters don't get the solo treatment in this new apparel collection, though they do appear in some composite prints. So now, being able to wear them on the day to day, sounds like the perfect upgrade. And this is no Toadette cosplay.
The pieces include a few t-shirts, one that includes a revamped Levi's logo that features Mario himself, as well as logo tees featuring Luigi, Yoshi, and Toad. There's also a few fanny packs-- the cool kids call them sling bags these days -- and a bandana.
The vast majority of the line sold out almost immediately on release earlier today but a few premium pieces -- like a Trucker Jacket featuring various patches of characters that is going for $148 -- are still available. There are also a few totes still up for grabs.
Hopefully there's another option coming down the line featuring a little more Princess Peach!
