We might not be able to visit Rose Apothecary and stock up on the eye cream that keeps David Rose looking so good, but beginning next month, we will be able to atleast grab a pair of Daniel Levy approved frames. Today, the Schitt's Creek co-creator and star has announced the relaunch of his unisex eyewear line of frames. The best part: D.L. Eyewear will be supporting Local Initiatives Support Corporation which helps small businesses impacted by the ongoing global pandemic.
"I'm so thrilled to be relaunching and to be supporting LISC in the process," Levy said in a release. "Even though D.L. Eyewear is a small business, I wanted to support other small businesses as we grow - particularly those owned by women, people of color, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and those in historically disadvantaged communities - in the hopes that we can all grow together. With this relaunch, considerable care has gone into every element of these new frames to make them special yet accessible, and I couldn't be more excited to get them out into the world and give back in the process."
Initially launched in 2013, the line will reemerge as 23 "gender-fluid" frames. This lineup will be added to as new styles are ready in lieu of a seasonal schedule.
Each style will be available at $135 on the D.L. Eyewear website. Currently, the site has a preview real featuring images shot by Danielle Levitt, and the words "See With Love." The collection will launch August 9.
