If there's one thing we all may be missing right now, it's touch. Intimacy. In his latest campaign, Paris-based designer Simon Porte Jacquemus brings it all to the forefront.
L'Amour, the designer's Spring/Summer 2021 collection, first made waves last July when it was shown in rolling wheat fields, an hour outside of Paris. The socially distanced show was poetic, with models roaming through the paths between the crops. Similarly, the new Jacquemus series of iamges debuted on Instagram are poetic.
First posted late last month, the images were preceeded by a few images of Jacquemus, who was a 2020 Out100 honoree, and his boyfriend kissing in a photobooth style session. The campaign itself features various couples making out while wearing pieces from the range. It was shot by Tom Kneller and styled by Zoey Radford Scott. The full project includes both same-sex and opposite-sex pairings.
