Do a little last-minute holiday shopping for the Golden Girl on your list.
It's December 14--what in the world are you going to buy the Golden Girls fanatic who already has everything (including the 25th Anniversary Golden Purse Collection and the Thank You for Being a Friendtrivia book)? Perhaps it's time to peruse Hutter Auction Gallery's Rue McClanahan estate sale. There, you'll find the perfect technicolor Christian Lacroix jacket, carved ethnic bench, or bronze bust of Hypocrites for the Blanche Devereaux freak in your life. (And the items are much more affordable, than, say, another gay icon's estate auction.) Obviously, none of these items would even be for sale if we didn't work in publishing and could afford to buy them all this second and fill our sad, cramped studio apartments with Rue's beautiful belongings. So consider this our gift to you, along with this lovely clip from Next, featuring Betty White perusing the items and reminiscing about our favorite silk-robed Southerner.
