J'adore A.P.C. The French label, helmed by the notoriously opinionated Jean Touitou, manages to do the seemingly impossible: to look cool without seeming precious or overlywrought. A go-to for those looking for a tailored upgrade to wardrobe lynchpins like the peacoat or indigo denim, the brand is easily wearable yet maintains a Gallic sense of je ne sais quoi. And while retailers like H&M look to partner with grandiose designer brands to add some glamour to their reputation, A.P.C. has instead looked to the pragmatic workwear label Carhartt to inject some streetwise edge into their offerings. This second collaboration is filled with pieces that both a hipster and proletariat could love. The company says the partnership serves as a, "sort of survival uniform that we're obliged to live in," and should that be the case, consider us jungle-bound.
