There may not be any such thing as a free lunch, but most fashionistos aren't too big on food anyway. But how about a free pair of Lanvin sneakers? Or some free A.P.C. jeans? And your thoughts on a gratis Maison Martin Margiela zip-up sweater? Yeah, we thought that would pique your interest. If you're all about spending dollars but only making cents, might we suggest you hit the streets and play a virtual game of cat-and-mouse for the sake of fashion? The new iPhone application GoldRun--which turns your smartphone's camera into portal of click-and-win adventures--has teamed up with MR PORTER for what they've dubbed a Global Treasure Hunt--in honor of the e-tailers first birthday (Happy Birthday, Mr. P!). Just download the app, open it up, find the PORTER-sponsored hunt under the "featured" tab on the dock at the bottom of the screen and go from there. The app will tell you where you need to go to score free swag. Once you make it there, you'll launch your camera through the GoldRun and snap a picture of the MR PORTER shopping bag and share it using all those wacky social media sites you use (What's that you say? You don't already have a Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Grindr account already? Shame on you.) From there you'll be entered to win one of the luxury items we mentioned above...and who doesn't want that? Happy hunting!
