Following her preformances at last night's Victoria's Secert Fashion Show, Rihanna announced her next fashion project today. She's been putting her fashion eye to use as an executive producer for a fashion reality show in the UK this summer, and now the show will be coming Stateside in 2013 to the Style Network. Rihanna will not only reprise her role as exec producer, but star in the series, titled "Styled to Rock." The 10-episode arc gives 12 up-and-coming designers, personally selected by Rihanna, an opportunity to style A-list celebs each week. For the UK verision, celebs included Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry, and The Scissor Sisters, among others.
"Fashion has always played an integral part in my life and career," Rihanna said. "I am so excited to partner with Style Network and share my creative insight with these 12 designers and give them this opportunity to showcase their work." To help the designers reach their full artistic potential, Rihanna will bring three top experts from the fashion industry to serve as mentors. A casting search is currently under way online.
