Madonna is the latest celebrity to jump onboard with the Human Rights Campaign's #LoveConquersHate initiative to fight discrimination in Russia.
On Monday, the singer circulated a note announcing the launch of a Russian language T-shirt to raise funds in support of the local LGBT community: "We as advocates have a responsibility to speak up and take our hopeful message global," she wrote.
Those who purchase the T-shirt (from $28, or donation-based) are also encouraged to share their pictures on social media with the hashtag #LoveConquersHate. All net proceeds from sales of the tee will go towards helping LGBT advocates in Russia.
