Idris Elba Likes Bow Ties A Bit Too Much

Ah, Idris, why do you have to be such a tease?

Visibly excited about the UK release of his blockbuster biopic Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, the British hunk tweeted about his love of bow ties... and the unusual effect they have on his anatomy.

Elba was on his way to the 25th Palm Springs International Film Festival awards gala last weekend when he made this astonishing confession:

Within a matter of minutes, his tweet was shared thousands of time, sending the Internet into a craze.

Barely leaving us enough time to catch our breath, after the event the actor kept talking about his "bow tie issues" and expressed his need to make himself, let's say, more comfortable:

Whether it was the actor himself or a sly hacker who tweeted, the mass-hysteria that caused Elba's sartorial observations prompted another comment on Sunday:

We like to think that Elba has a sense of humor, and that he knows exactly how to please his followers -- all 950,000 of them. It's just going to be this much harder to get back to work now that our mind is fixated on Idris, his bow tie, and his throbbing "beast".
