Riccardo Tisci isn't ready to give up on his obsession with athletic gear. After last year's American football collection and a spring/summer line heavily influenced by skateboarding, the creative director of Givenchy focused on basketball for Fall 2014.
The collection is a blend of Tisci's long-lasting influences, from the hip hop scene to latino street style, always bearing references to the animal kingdom.
Cue a series of fur coats and vests, worn over baggy sweatpants this season, while the models sported fishnet masks over their face and slicked-back hair.
There was no shortage of celebrities in attendance: Sharing the front row space, we spotted rapper Angel Haze, New York performance artist Ladyfag, and, naturally, His Eminence Kanye West.
