Originally created to protect WWI officers from wind and rain, the Burberry trench coat has evolved over 100 years to become an icon, representing timeless British style and design innovation.
This spring, Burberry modernizes its signature staple with the launch the Heritage Trench Coat Collection, which offers a range of length and color variations. The Sandringham ("slim", pictured above), with its cropped snug fit, seems like a perfect mid-season option, but if you're the more conservative type, the Kensington & the Wiltshire ("modern") or the Westminster ("classic") could also find a much-deserved spot in your closet.
Available in three colors (honey, stone, and black) in Burberry stores and on Burberry.com.
The Sandrigham, $1,695; The Kensington, $1,695; The Westminster, $1,795
