Kanye West partners with French fashion house A.P.C. for the second and final time

Goth ninja meets post-apocalyptic chic in the fall/winter 2014 A.P.C. collection in collaboration with hip-hop superstar and fashion icon, Kanye West. This is West's second and final collaboration with the French ready-to-wear fashion house, as the rapper plans to continue his relationship with Adidas and focus on expanding his take on sportswear with the German brand.

Following the success of his first collab with A.P.C., which sold out in minutes, Yeezus once again wowed fashionistas when the full collection was presented at Paris Fashion Week, last January. It features a wide range of sweaters and outerwear pieces, most notably West's varying interpretations of the parka, and leans towards a darker, earthier palette, and Yohji Yamamoto-esque avant-gardism. There is a sense of cohesion and functionality as a priority to the design aesthetic, fit for an audience that prefers a fair balance between efficient, yet fashion-forward pieces in their wardrobe.

Ultimately, with this new collection underway, our biggest question is: Will A.P.C.'s website crash again upon its release? We'll just have to wait and see.

The Kanye x A.P.C. Fall/Winter 2014 collection hits stores and USonline.APC.fr on July 17.
