We've had a soft spot for Louis Garrel since his breakthrough role in Bernardo Bertolucci's The Dreamers, in 2003.
Since then, the smouldering Frenchie has become a bona fide menswear icon (he's a fixture on the collection mood boards of Michael Bastian, AMI, and A.P.C.) and stands as a poster boy for effortless Parisian cool.
This week, Garrel attended Valentino's menswear show in Paris next to actor Luke Evans and pop star Stromae, but we only had eyes for him. Don't be fooled by the simplicity of his look, this is a masterclass in layering.
On top of his navy pants, Garrel wears a T-shirt, a button-down shirt, a henley, and a suit jacket, all perfectly matched, and lets his beautiful speckled wool peacoat do all the talking.
A great winter combo, but wait until you see him as Gaspard Ulliel's lover in the upcoming Saint Laurent biopic -- with way less clothing!
