Daily Crush: Looking's Dog Sweater

In a recent episode of Looking, Russell Tovey's character Kevin is wearing an adorable sweater that features a Boston terrier. Without spoiling anything, it becomes a major plot line in episode 8. We asked the show's costume designer, Danny Glicker, about the sweater's provenance and significance, and he revealed that it's the Michael Bastian Jimmy Crewneck Sweater for Gant in lambswool from the F/W 2014 collection.

"The Gant sweater is really specific to Kevin and where his character is heading throughout the season," Glicker says. "It shows his softer, more playful side, and is a fun example of a prep school aesthetic that both he and Patrick share. Russell and I are both crazy dog lovers, and it made us smile so much to see that sweet design."
