Zaya Wade has lived so much of her life publicly. While that has certainly resulted in a lot of ire and hate to be sent her way — for doing nothing more than making choices that work for her with the permission of her parents and other adults in her life — it's also meant that followers have gotten to know a bit about her interests. And for anyone paying any attention, fashion is one of them.
Earlier today at Paris Fashion Week, Wade officially cemented the star of her era as a bonafide fashion girlie. We can't call her an "it girl" just yet, but we know it's coming! The teen was cast in this season's Miu Miu show, walking along a cast that included Emma Corrin, Ethel Cain, and Mia Goth.
Social media is understandably applauding the moment. But it's certainly not the first time she's shown us that fashion is of interest to her...
For her first post on Instagram, if you remember correctly, Zaya helped design her own look! The post was Wade's re-introduction to the world on her first red carpet as a 12-year-old. Working with designer Rich Fresh, Zaya helped to design not only her look, but the looks of both of her parents.
Since then over the years, Zaya has set up fashion shoots for her Instagram account wearing a variety of designers. She even shot and styled her mother Gabrielle Union-Wade for a cover of Self magazine and has appeared in magazines herself.
In December she really started to put her foot on the neck of fashion, heading to shows like the Miu Miu Spring 203 show being dressed by the brand. This was followed by also shooting campaigns for the likes of Puma. And now, her runway debut for Miu Miu. This is a fashion it girl in the making!
