15 iconic looks that prove Zendaya & Law Roach NEVER miss

It’s no secret that image architect and retired stylist Law Roach and Emmy-winning actress Zendaya have the secret sauce when it comes to fashion.

Over the past 13 years, we’ve watched this incredible friendship and partnership creatively take over red carpets. With looks themed to films and insane archival pieces, the duo continues to find ways to keep wowing us — and we proudly eat it up every time!

Both the American and British editions of Vogue dropped their May 2024 covers earlier this week, with none other than Zendaya on both, modeling the most incredible couture before it sees the runway and all while creating looks on the current Challengers press tour.

The duo continues to defy the odds while creating an incredible merge of fashion and film. During Zendaya's “get ready with me” video for Vogue, Law made a comment that will stand the test of time: “We don't miss, we like Jordan and Pippen baby.”

And DAMN, is he right.

'The Greatest Showman' Sydney Premiere (2017)

While talking to Vogue about this incredible look, Zendaya lets us in to her and Law's brain.

"With Law and I, we always find inspiration from films that I'm doing, a butterfly isn't the theme per se. But it is this idea of being costume-y, you're the greatest showman, everything is drama. So that's what this dress was to me, being literal, being dramatic, being entertaining."

Met Gala, "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" (2018)

Zendaya stepped onto the Met carpet, breaking the internet once again in this Saint Joan of Arc inspired Versace gown. Although she is the queen of carpets, Zendaya told Vogue that this look was tough to wear.

While in an interview with WhoWhatWear, Law Roach gave background into why they choose this Tommy Hilfiger princess moment.

"The story was that she was leaving Disney and this was before Euphoria premiered. That was to pay homage to her career as this Disney princess. We knew when Euphoria premiered that people would get to see a whole other side of Zendaya the actress.

Critic Choice Awards (2020)

The ICONIC Tom Ford breast plate. We have all wondered how did they come up with this and how did they make it? Luckily Zendaya let us know. While discussing the creation of this look she said, " I got this scan done, its almost like a hair dryer. They come in with this thing, scan you and upload you onto the computer. I thought it would be more of a dramatic process but hey... technology people."

Another example of themed dressing, this incredible custom piece was made of leather and was solid, so much so it was hard to breathe in. As we know Z always has a reason behind the look, according to the icon "this felt very Dune."

While being honored as a CFDA fashion icon, Zendaya and Law chose a red Vera Wang ensemble. They chose the color red because to this duo, red is power.

"This suit, everybody know it. I was like, 'What if I wore this?'" Considering this look was made for a model, the suit had to fit PERFECTLY. During the fitting Zendaya even said, "we tried it on and I was like, 'Guys I think its fitting.' It fit like a glove."

'Challengers' London Premiere (2024)

Last but definitely not least, the fashion duo has also been slaying the currently ongoing Challengers press tour. Given the work of Law and Zendaya, picking one look from this tour was not easy. However, this unbelievable detailed custom Thom Browne gown broke our necks.
