If you don't know the four rules to becoming a queen, then get ready to learn.

Following the announcement that Paris is Burning, the 1990 documentary about New York's ballroom community, will be re-entering theaters in June, Shout! Factory has announced the impending blu-ray release of the 1995 feature To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar. The May 28 launch will include new footage from the film.

Directed by Beeban Kidron, the queer classic stars Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo as drag queens on a cross country road trip. After Vida (Swayze) and Noxeema (Snipes) tie in a drag pageant hosted by none other than RuPaul herself (as Rachel Tensions,) the trio make their way to the West Coast. And while, we aren't sure why we are explaining the plot of a film that any queer should have already seen by now -- it was on Netflix a few months ago so truly, even the millenials amongst us have no excuse -- here we are! The queens breakdown in the small town of Snydersville along the way and in the process of getting their vehicle repaired, help to give the townspeople a new outlook on life over the span of a weekend.

This classic tale comes bolstered with new content. A feature titled "Easy Rider In Dresses" will provide a look back at the making of the the movie. The spot will include interviews of Leguizamo, who plays Chi Chi in the film, as well as the director and screenwriter Douglas Carter Beane. Deleted scenes will also be included in the disk.

Now, who can we talk to about a recast of the film featuring RuPaul's Drag Race alums as the queens?

The drop is a part of a slate of Pride month timed releases from Shout!. The company will also debut Blu-rays of Boom!, Jeffrey and Can't Stop the Music.
