Kristen Stewart Is Hot, Kicks Ass in First Charlie’s Angels Trailer

Good morning, angels! Early Thursday the first trailer for the upcoming reboot of Charlie's Angels arrived and it has gays everywhere feeling...a lot of feelings. The update stars Kristen Stewart, Ella Balinska, and Naomi Scott as the titular Angels. Elizabeth Banks is Bosley, but as it turns out she's not the only one: Sam Claflin, Djimon Hounsou, and Patrick Stewart all also play Bosleys, which seems to be a code name for any Angels-adjacent helpers.

The first trailer for the film is heavy on action, one-liners, and costume changes. "We're gonna need some wigs, toys, clothes," says Banks -- gay pandering if I've ever heard it. During a montage of the Angels' various closets of disguises, there's even a nod to the original film series, with a shot of the milkmaid and racing outfits worn by Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu.

The Angel we're most excited for is obviously bicon Kristen Stewart, who Banks (the film's writer, director, and producer) said was a "leader" on set in an interview with People. "She's a world-famous beauty, a style icon, but I think what she's most known for is living authentically. Just being herself all the time," Banks revealed. "I felt that I could surprise audiences with a Kristen performance. And I think that people will be delighted by just how much fun she's having in this movie."

The trailer also gives us a first listen to a new song by Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey -- the power that that has. Honestly, why isn't Ariana in the movie? Maybe we'll get a cameo?
