Ever wanted to know more about your favorite local stripper or gogo boy but were too afraid to ask them as you stuffed their jockstraps with dollar bills? The new documentary All Male, All Nude: Johnsons, which premieres Sunday benefitting Ft. Lauderdale's OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival, promises to answer all the questions you've ever pondered.
From director Gerald McCullouch, Johnsons is his followup to 2017's All Male, All Nude, and journeys to a small gay strip club located in America's Second Gayest City (per capita), Wilton Manors, Fla.
"The first film was actually intended to be nothing more than a sizzle reel for a reality show, so developing that content into a feature was actually a very educational journey for me as a filmmaker," McCullouch, who starred in and also directed 2015's Daddy, tells Out. He calls his films on male strippers "dick docs."
The latest film is named after the new club it focuses on, which is owned by Matt Colunga who was introduced to audiences in the prior installment, All Male. Colunga is an award-winning bodybuilder who has been in the male entertainment industry for 23 years.
"Matt contacted me about his new club, Johnsons, and was willing to grant me exclusive access to his club and employees," McCullouch said. "It seemed like the perfect opportunity to ride the success of the first documentary and go a little deeper into this world that had proven it had a rather hearty audience."
Ahead of the film's world premiere, here's some exclusive photos of the doc's stars, complete with custom Andrew Christian underwear. Check them out.
