We're about to have one of the queerest holiday seasons in some time -- and we don't mean weird!

Though things may be out of sorts as a result of the ongoing pandemic, the next few months are set to see the release of a slate of Christmas-themed content with LGBTQ+ leads. And while both Hallmark and Lifetime are getting in on the game, Clea DuVall seems to be beating them to the punch with her film Happiest Season.

"This holiday season, come out and meet the family," Hulu tweeted today. "Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis star in an all-new Christmas rom-com."

The film led by Stewart who has plans on proposing to her girlfriend (played by Davis) while home for the holidays. The issue: the girlfriend is not out to her family. In the project, Stewart and Davis are joined by Dan Levy, Victor Garber, Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, and Mary Steenburgen. And while it was expected to hit theaters on November 25, the day before Thanksgiving, looks like plans have changed.

Happiest Season will premiere on Hulu instead!

"As a huge fan of Hulu, I cannot think of a better home for Happiest Season," Duvall, who wrote the screenplay and directed the film tweeted. "We all put a tremendous amount of love into this film and are so grateful it will be available for audiences to watch in the safety of their homes. Can't wait to share it!"

And while you may be chomping at the bit for a trailer, it will soon be on the way as Hulu tweeted to an eager fan.
