The wait is finally over! The trailer for Netflix's first gay holiday romantic comedy film is officially out, and from the looks of it, the film is going to give us all the queer Christmas feels we've been so looking forward to this holiday season!
Directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer and starring a stacked cast that includes Michael Urie, Philemon Chambers, Luke MacFarlane, Barry Bostwick, Jennifer Robertson, and comedy icons Jennifer Coolidge and Kathy Najimy,
Single All the Way tells the story of a gay man named Peter who is "desperate to avoid his family's judgment about his perpetual single status," according to the film's official -- and incredibly relatable -- description.
"Peter (Michael Urie) convinces his best friend Nick (Philemon Chambers) to join him for the holidays and pretend that they're now in a relationship," the description continues. "But when Peter's mother (Kathy Najimy) sets him up on a blind date with her handsome trainer James (Luke Macfarlane)-- the plan goes awry."
The film was first announced earlier this year when Netflix took to Twitter to share the news that Urie, Chambers, and Macfarlane were cast.
And when we found out screen legends Coolidge (The White Lotus, Legally Blonde, A Cinderella Story) and Najimy (Hocus Pocus, Sister Act) were also involved, we knew instantly that this was going to be an instant (and gay as hell) holiday classic!
Watch the official trailer for Single All the Way below! And catch the film when it premieres on Netflix on Thursday, December 2!
