Megan Fox and Ruby Rose are teaming up for a new, dark, and sexy music thriller!
According to Deadline, the upcoming film Taurus "tells the story of a rising but troubled musician (played by Colson Baker) as he spends his days and nights searching endlessly for the inspiration to record one last song. His sister-like assistant wants to save him, his collaborators want him in the studio, while his dealer (Ruby Rose) and his ex (Megan Fox) push him deeper into the void."
The movie is said to explore themes about the darkness of fame, addiction, the music industry, and the artistic process. It will be directed by Tim Sutton, who also wrote the screenplay. Baker, better known by his stage name Machine Gun Kelly, is currently in a relationship with Fox, and other cast members include Scoot McNairy, Maddie Hasson, Demetrius "Lil Meech" Flenory, and recording artist Lil Tjay.
Bicon Megan Fox keeps getting more and more roles, and honestly, we couldn't be happier!
Staying booked and busy, Fox has her upcoming film slate pretty full. Other than Taurus, she'll be starring as a crime boss in the (non-gay) thriller Johnny and Clyde, and is appearing in the upcoming Expendables sequel alongside Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham.
After leaving the titular role of Batwoman in the CW's Arrowverse show about the character and then detailing what she says were unsafe and hostile work environments that led to on-set injuries, Rose has also been picking up a few movie roles!
The Australian model and actress is replacing Elliot Page in an upcoming esports comedy from Lionsgate and BuzzFeed. The film, titled 1Up, is about an esport gamer who quits her college team when she's fed up with poor treatment from male teammates and assembles an all-women team to play with instead.
Getting to see Fox and Rose together in the same film (and hopefully sharing some screentime together too) is like a queer dream come true, so we can't wait to see and learn more about Taurus in the coming months!
