Watch Billy Porter Slay As Fab G in Cinderella First Trailer

The wait is finally over, fairy tale stans! The first full trailer for Amazon Prime Video's upcoming, feminist take on the beloved, classic Cinderella story is finally here, and after being teased for months, we finally get to see star Emmy-winning TV and theater icon Billy Porter take on the role of the genderless fairy godparent Fab G alongside pop starlet Camila Cabello!

But this isn't the first time we've seen Porter rocking his magical digs, though! Back in May, the Pose alum also shared a first-look teaser image of him getting into the instantly iconic Fab G threads!

"Magic has no gender," Porter said in a 2020 CBS News interview when talking about his excitement for the role. "We are presenting this character as genderless. At least that's how I'm playing it. And it's really powerful."

On how the next generation is already more than ready to see kind of representation in their favorite media, he continued:

"You know, this is a classic fairy tale for a new generation, and I think that the new generation is really ready. You know, the kids are ready. It's the grown-ups that are slowing stuff down."

Cinderella premieres September 3 on Amazon Prime Video!
