The Pose alum is going to be playing a longtime DC Comics villain, too!

Indya Moore has got a brand new gig!

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, the 26-year-old actor and one of the stars of FX's groundbreaking, trans-inclusive drama series Pose has just landed a role in the upcoming Aquaman sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

The Jason Momoa starrer, which is scheduled to hit theaters in December of 2022, will be one of four DCEU films distributed by Warner Bros. alongside Black Adam, The Flash, and Batgirl. Moore will be taking on the role of Karshon, who THR describes as "a shark that, after being hit with radiation, gained intelligence and telepathic powers." The character first appeared in Green Lantern, Volume 2, issue #24 back in October 1963.

"Soooo excited, sooo grateful," Moore wrote on Instagram when they celebrated and shared the good news with their fans and followers. "This is going to be good. Thank you for welcoming me, DC Comics."

Moore has been staying booked and busy lately following the wrap of Emmy-nominated series Pose.

Earlier this year, they starred in Sony Pictures' psychological horror film sequel Escape Room: Tournament of Champions, where they played mysterious new character Brianna!

Now that we're living in a post-Pose world, it's nice to see the show's star continue to find success in their careers, and we can't wait too see what else Moore has in store for their future!

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is scheduled to premiere in theaters in December 2022. Catch-up on the first Aquaman film on HBO Max!
