Everything Everywhere All At Once Is Now A24's Highest Grossing Film

Find out how you can watch the best lesbian movie of the year.

Everything Everything Everywhere All At Once has been through has led exactly to this moment right now.

That moment is the one where Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert's multiverse movie became the highest-grossing film in A24 history, passing Ari Aster's Hereditary. Hereditary made $80.2 million, vs. Everything Everywhere All At Once's $80.9 million.

Everything Everywhere All At Once stars Michelle Yeoh as a mother with a struggling laundry company, a father with declining health and traditional views, a lesbian daughter she doesn't understand, and a husband who wants a divorce.

The film has been widely praised for its writing, stunning visuals, bold message, and acting. Yeoh is already getting heavy Oscar buzz for her role. The movie also stars Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan (who also delivers an Oscar-worthy performance), Jamie Lee Curtis, and James Hong.

While Marvel is making the biggest multiverse movies, this film perfected the idea, offering not only a visual masterpiece that we've never seen before, but also one of the most heartfelt movies of the year.

Not only does the film have a great storyline featuring Hsu as Yeoh's lesbian daughter who is trying (and struggling) to introduce her girlfriend to her conservative grandfather, but in one of the multiverses we see, Yeoh's character is a lesbian as well. And unlike some movies where the representation is surface level, this film deals with central themes of a family accepting queer members.

If you haven't had a chance to catch the film in theaters yet (which you definitely should), it's also available to purchase on digital retailers like Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, and Vudu for $20. The film will be available to rent and buy on Blu-ray and DVD on July 5.
