"I think me and Mike found that very funny, only because we were so close, and that was intimidating," Josh O'Connor said.

Josh O'Connor is giving us an inside look at his sexy three-way kiss with Mike Faist and Zendaya in Challengers!

Luda Guadagnino's Challengers was, without a doubt, one of the sexiest movies of 2024. It also gave us one of the most viral movie scenes of the year when the characters played by O'Connor, Faist, and Zendaya had a steamy three-way kissing session in a hotel room.

During a one-on-one interview for Variety''s "Actors on Actors" web series, O'Connor was paired up with Daniel Craig, the star of Guadagnino's other big movie this year: Queer.

While chatting with each other, O'Connor shared behind-the-scenes details about what it was like to film those kissing scenes.

"Me and Mike got the giggles, because when we're kissing… the way the kissing kind of works, Zendaya brings us, and we're both kissing Zendaya, and gradually, we end up kissing each other," O'Connor explained.

The Challengers actor continued:

"And she's just backed out and she's watching. And we had this moment of kissing for a while and then opening our eyes and seeing that it's just us. And that did make us giggle."

Unfortunately, the giggles didn't make it into the movie, but the scene still was amazing!

"I think me and Mike found that very funny, only because we were so close, and that was intimidating," he added.

The 2025 awards season has already been kicked off with Challengers being nominated for four Golden Globes, including Best Motion Picture. Meanwhile, Craig was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance in Queer.

Challengers is streaming on Prime Video. You can watch Josh O'Connor and Daniel Craig's full interview below.
