There are casts, and then there's the cast for this sprawling sci-fi epic!

Get ready to go to Arrakis with the Dune: Part Two trailer!

Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet are adorable while flirting about swimming in an ocean on a desert planet in the opening of the trailer, before we dive headfirst into Dune’s wild space politics full of space emperor’s and royal families. But it's not all politics, there’s also plenty of fighting and, most wildly, Chalamet’s Paul Atreides riding on one of the desert planet’s infamous sandworms!

This new trailer teases more action than the first movie had, something filmmaker Denis Villeneuve said he wanted to focus on.

Part One is more of a contemplative movie. Part Two is an action-packed, epic war movie. It is much more dense. We went to all new locations,” he said at CinemaCon. “I didn’t want a feeling of repetition. It’s all new sets. Everything is new.”

Now, let’s talk about cast, because Dune: Part Two has got THEE Cast! Apart from Chalamet and Zendaya, the film also stars Elvis Oscar-nominee Austin Butler, Midsommer’s Florence Pugh, Léa Seydoux, Christopher Walken, and returning cast members Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, and Charlotte Rampling.

Butler’s hairless albino character is Feyd Rautha, a royal family member who was described by Villeneuve as an “Olympic sword master crossed with a psychotic serial killer.”

Both Chalamet and Zendaya have also made movies with acclaimed gay director Luca Guadagnino. Chalamet broke out in 2017’s

Call Me By Your Name and also starred in Bones and All in 2022. Zendaya is starring in the upcoming Challengers, along with Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor. The movie follows a Grand Slam tennis champion who signs up to compete in a challenger event against the former lover of his wife and coach (Zendaya). The science-fiction epic premieres November 3, 2023 in theaters.
