Can you imagine the movie without this VERY important scene???

Whether or not you've seen the movie Twisters yet, you've probably already seen the clip of star Glen Powell walking through the rain wearing a white t-shirt and white cowboy hat.

While I didn't particularly love the character, Powell's Tyler Owens is one of the summer blockbuster's biggest draws for audiences. Powell is already one of the hottest rising stars in Hollywood, and by playing the studly YouTube star and storm chaser in Twisters, he's becoming one of the defining men of 2024.

One of his most iconic moments from the new film is a scene (that was shown in previews) where he walks outside during a rainstorm wearing a tight, white T-shirt, blue jeans, and white cowboy hat.

As soon as people saw his t-shirt clinging tightly to his chest, fans went feral, and have been talking about the scene nonstop.

Some moviegoers even have admitted to cheering during the scene.

But the iconic thirst trap almost never made it into the movie. According to Twisters' director Lee Isaac Chung, he was planning on cutting the scene.

"I almost trimmed that shot," he told Entertainment Weekly. "But the funny thing is there were people on my editing staff who told me, 'You cannot trim that scene.' They almost rioted."

Thankfully, Chung listened to his editing team, and now we all have him to thank for one of the hottest movie scenes of the year.

Twisters is currently playing in theaters.
