Meet Nicholas Galitzine's August Moon bandmates from 'The Idea of You'

Based on the novel of the same name by Robinne Lee, The Idea of You is the latest romantic comedy from Prime Video that is getting the girlies tuning in, talking, and stanning.

The film centers on Solène (Anne Hathaway), a 40-year-old woman raising her daughter after divorcing from her ex-husband. Solène's daughter, Izzy (Ella Rubin) is obsessed with a boy band called August Moon — which includes heartthrob pop star Hayes (Nicholas Galitzine).

As Solène and Hayes fall in love over the course of The Idea of You, we also learn a little bit more about the singer's August Moon bandmates: Rory, Oliver, Adrian, and Simon. We also see August Moon performing three original songs: "Dance Before We Walk," "Taste," and "Closer." The latter is a standout moment for Hayes, who dedicates the song to Solène.

While audiences were already familiar with the lead actors in the film, fans are now invested in August Moon lore and want to get to know Galitzine's bandmates from The Idea of You.

August Moon band member Rory was played by Dakota Adan in The Idea of You film. Prior to starring in this Prime Video rom-com, Adan was a dancer on Hulu's East Los High and worked in projects like Us. And Aberrant.

Outside of his onscreen work, Adan published a poetry book titled Be(loved) in 2020. He also has a partner in real life, Dariusz, which means that Rory is taken, girlies! Recently, the queer couple celebrated Dariusz's return home with an emotional Instagram post.

The Idea of You is the first-ever onscreen credit for Jaiden Anthony, who plays Adrian in the movie. As a dancer, model, and now actor who lives between Los Angeles and New York City, Anthony is about to get a lot more fans following his stint as an August Moon pop star.
