Over the last several years, Benoit Blanc (played by former James Bond actor Daniel Craig) has become an iconic film character, starring in Knives Out and Glass Onion.
Now, the queer detective is returning for a third time in writer/director Rian Johnson's new movie. The upcoming film, the third in the Knives Out franchise will be called Wake Up Dead Man, and will see Craig return as the charming southern mystery solver.

"The next Benoit Blanc mystery, the follow-up to Knives Out and Glass Onion, is called Wake Up Dead Man," Johnson wrote on Twitter in a post announcing the new title on May 24.
He also teased that more news about the sequel would be coming soon.
Three days later, the first additions to the cast were announced.
Here's who we know will be starring in the sequel, and who we hear might join the cast soon!
1. Daniel Craig
Lionsgate Films
Of course Knives Out and Glass Onion star Daniel Craig is reprising his role as Benoit Blanc. In previous films, he was joined by co-stars including Janelle Monáe, Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn, Kate Hudson, Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, Toni Collette, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
2. Josh O'Connor
One of two new co-stars who have officially been named to the sequel is Josh O'Connor, who starred this year in Luca Guadagnino's smash hit Challengers as well as La Chimera. He's also appeared in The Crown and God's Own Country.
3. Cailee Spaeny
Joining Craig and O'Connor is 25-year-old Cailee Spaeny, who starred as the title character in last year's biopic Priscilla, as well as this year's Civil War and the upcoming Alien: Romulus.
4. Andrew Scott
All of Us Strangers star Andrew Scott has also just been announced today as a new castmember for the movie! Scott has been on fire lately, starring in projects like Fleabag, All of Us Strangers, and Ripley. Now that we know Benoit Blanc is gay, could Scott be playing a former or current love interest??
5. Tom Hardy
Tom Hardy is an icon and the latest rumor says that the British actor might be joining the upcoming Wake Up Dead Man! We love Hardy in everything from Inception, to Warrior, to The Dark Knight Rises, Fury Road, Venom, and Peaky Blinders, so we would love to see him here.
6. Lindsay Lohan
True bicon Lindsay Lohan is also rumored to be joining the cast. A legend ever since she was a child actor in things like The Parent Trap, Life-Size, Freaky Friday, and Mean Girls, she's lately been having a resurgence appearing in Netflix romantic comedies like Falling for Christmas and Irish Wish.
