The pop icon is starring in the sequel to the Oscar-winning, 2019 comic book film.

Lady Gaga is putting her acting hat back on — and from the looks of it, she's already slaying her latest role.

As a follow-up to her now infamous role as Patrizia Reggiani in 2021's House of Gucci, the Oscar-winning popstar and actress is taking on the world of comic book films as popular bisexual antiheroine Harley Quinn in the upcoming Joker: Folie à Deux film, the sequel to director Todd Phillips and star Joaquin Phoenix's 2019 Joker.

With Gaga taking on more and more film projects, the world has been quietly anticipating any update on this ambitious Joker film, especially considering that it's reportedly going to be a musical and Gaga is going to be getting a $10 million paycheck from it.

And now, we have a first-look teaser image of Gaga in action!

"Happy Valentine's Day," the official Joker Instagram account captioned the pic in their post from Tuesday, which shows Mother Monster in character as Harley Quinn, staring down Phoenix's Joker.

It may only be just a simple pic now, and we still have to wait more than a year and a half until we finally get to see the film when it premieres in the fall of 2024, but to say we're excited is definitely an understatement!

In the meantime, we'll be rooting for Gaga at the upcoming 2023 Oscars, where she's nominated for Best Original Song for the Top Gun: Maverick anthem "Hold My Hand."
