Every time Lady Gaga appears in the 'Joker: Folie à Deux' trailer
We can't wait to see Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn!
Welcome to Lady Gaga’s dark, twisted mind!
The first trailer for Joker: Folie à Deux is out, and now, we know what to expect from Lady Gaga’s turn as Harley Quinn.
The sequel follows Todd Phillips’ Oscar-winning 2019 film name and sees Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck (also known as the Joker) as he’s locked up in Arkham Asylum and meets fellow inmate Harley Quinn (played by the legendary Lady Gaga).
From there, it’s an immediate connection of love and madness, as the two encourage, help, inspire, and drive each other to further extremes.
Not much about the actual plot is known, but the film will be a sort-of jukebox musical, with many well-known songs being featured throughout, and Gaga and Phoenix singing in the film. So far, these scenes seem like part of the shared madness between the two clowns.
Phoenix won an Oscar for his role in the first film, and many critics are predicting that Lady Gaga will earn her second acting nomination for her role. Will Joker 2 be the movie that gets her an acting Oscar?
Watch the trailer, and scroll through to get a good look at what she’ll be doing when the movie opens in theaters October 4!
