Mads Mikkelsen Says He 'Tickled' Daniel Craig Down There While Filming Casino Royale

The actor also noted the two were "partners in crime" on set.

Mads Mikkelsen, the acclaimed Danish actor known for his roles in Hannibal, the Fantastic Beasts franchise, and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, just revealed that he once tickled Daniel Craig’s nether regions with a rope while filming a scene in the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale.

During his appearance at the Zurich Film Festival, Mikkelsen shared with Variety that, “[Daniel Craig] was the new Bond [back then] and everything about him was ‘wrong.’ His height, his nose, his hair. I think he was glad I also came from indie films. He had a partner in crime. There was this scene where I tickled his balls with a rope. We had so many ideas and the director just looked at us: ‘Guys, come back. It’s a Bond movie.’”

While the idea of tickling a famous hunk like Craig sounds like it could be fun, the scene itself where the alleged tickling took place is actually pretty far from it and occurs when Mikkelsen's villainous character Le Chiffre kidnaps Craig's Bond, ties him naked to a seatless chair, and tortures him with a rope in an effort to retrieve the password to an incredibly important bank account.

Whatever floats your boat, I guess! No judgment here!

Casino Royale is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
