Mean Girls actor Rajiv Surendra has a (very gay!) theory about who Kevin G was REALLY crushing on

Now this would have been THE plot twist of the century!

Kevin G flirted and danced with Janis Ian at the Spring Fling dance in the iconic 2004 high school comedy Mean Girls, but according to the actor who played him, Kevin's heart may have secretly belonged to another character!

In a new interview with People, out actor Rajiv Surendra gave his own theory/plot twist when asked about what could have happened to Kevin and Janis after high school...

"I don't think the two had any sort of future together," he says before spilling the real tea. "I think Kevin secretly wanted Aaron Samuels, but he wasn't allowed to say it."

Surendra, who himself publicly came out as gay in 2018, says that in today's world, Kevin G would have been able to express himself freely.

"Today, he would be allowed to reveal his feelings to Aaron Samuels, and then Aaron Samuels was also secretly gay," Surendra said giving us even more insight into this pairing.

It's a twist that might surprise some Mean Girls fans, but it's one that is fitting considering that both he and Jonathan Bennett (the actor who played Aaron) have since publicly come out as gay, as well as their co-star Daniel Franzese, who played Damian and followed suit years after the original Mean Girls hit theaters.

"Every time we're together that comes up," Surendra said later in the interview. "We just make jokes about it. We're like, 'Oh, we're all gay.'"

Mean Girls is streaming on Paramount+.
