Out got to chat with the "Spite" singer, and the rest of the Queer cast, at the film's Los Angeles premiere.

Grammy-nominated R&B crooner Omar Apollo is already a star in the music world, but with the upcoming release of A24's romantic drama Queer, he is also getting ready to set the film world ablaze!

Based on William S. Burroughs' 1985 novel of the same name, the film (directed by Call Me by Your Name/Challengers director and out filmmaker Luca Guadagnino) tells the story of Lee (Daniel Craig), an American outcast wandering around Mexico City after having to flee the states after being othered for his sexuality and his drug and alcohol addiction who falls in love with a younger, swoon-worthy Navy serviceman (Drew Starkey).

Not a small feat, Apollo makes his acting debut as a mysterious and charming sex worker who has a chance encounter with Lee.

Out got the chance to speak to Apollo, Craig, the film's costume designer Jonathan Anderson, screenplay writer Justin Kuritzkes, and more stars on the red carpet at Queer's Los Angeles premiere, and we thought it would be fitting to ask them what their favorite part of being queer was! (Or what their favorite thing about the queer community is, for the allies in the crowd.) Their answers run the gamut from hilarious to insightful!

"My favorite thing about being queer is... it's just too fab," Apollo tells Out while laughing. "It's just fab, all of it is fab. It's like you have to be fab. That's it."

Queer arrives in theaters on November 27.
