Omar Ayuso stans are eating today.

On Monday, May 16, Ayuso shared a first-look image of his upcoming film On the Go, where he plays a character named Jonathan. According to a summary of the film, Jonathan is a 24-year-old man trying to overcome abandonment issues by engaging in hookup culture on Grindr.

The cast of On the Go also features Chacha Huang, Jordi Roig, and Julia de Castro, who codirected the film along with María Royo. The movie is now set to premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival taking place between May 16 and May 27, 2023.

Based on this first-look image shared by Ayuso, we can certainly expect this film to get raunchy and for the actor to completely lean in.

Ayuso was an Élite mainstay for seasons one through five. However, the actor left the hit Netflix series following his appearance in the fifth season. Thankfully, it’s now been announced that Ayuso is returning to Élite season seven to reprise his role as Omar Shanaa – and we couldn’t be any more excited!

Between his Élite comeback and this On the Go premiere at Cannes, 2023 is set to be a landmark year in Ayuso’s career. He is also attached to other upcoming projects like Los Farad, Les Paradis de Diane, and Yo, Adicto.
