Wicked is the number one movie in the country, and fans of the musical, which came out in 2003, have finally gotten what they want, and they are celebrating in fine fashion!
During its opening weekend, Wicked earned $114 million domestically, making it the biggest opening weekend for a film based on a Broadway show, and the third biggest opening of the year after Deadpool & Wolverine and Inside Out 2. But one thing Wicked has over those other movies is a deeply devoted fanbase that loves to dress up, and those fans put on their Ozian best to go see the new movie!
