Another win for Olympic gays everywhere!

Tom Daley, gold medal-winning diver and one of our fave out athletes of all time, is set to be a flag bearer for Team GB at the upcoming opening ceremony for this year's Olympic games in Paris!

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Daley opened up about the flag bearing honor.

"Being chosen to be the flag bearer at the opening ceremony of an Olympic Games is the highest honor," Daley said. And honestly, can we blame him for the excitement? Imagine walking into that packed stadium knowing that you're representing not just your country, but also the global LGBTQ+ community!

Daley's coming out in 2013 was a monumental moment, and since then, he's been an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, using his platform to inspire and uplift.

Daley also married Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black in 2017 and soon after started a family. The couple now share two beautiful children together.

And we can't forget to mention Daley's willy warmer era, because obviously, we still stan.

As we gear up for the events of the Summer Olympics, Tom Daley carrying the flag will be a sight to see! Let the games begin, and may they be as inspiring as the man leading Team GB into the spotlight!
