The gays keep winning!
On Monday, July 29, Tom Daley and partner Noah Williams won a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics for their performance in the synchronized diving 10m platform competition. The duo scored a total of 463.44 points — losing the gold medal to China (490.35 points) but beating Canada in the bronze medal (422.13 points).
This is Daley's fifth Olympic medal overall. He previously won a bronze medal at London 2012, a bronze medal at Rio 2016, and a gold medal and a bronze medal at Tokyo 2020. In turn, this is Williams' first-ever medal at the Olympic Games.
Dustin Lance Black, Daley's husband, was in the audience cheering the British diver for earning himself yet another Olympic medal.

"Today is the day! No matter what happens, I am so grateful to have been able to really enjoy every second of this 5th Olympic journey! Thank you to each and every one of you that has supported us on our journey to these games!"
