Moët Hennessy has just teamed up with THEE Beyoncé Knowles-Carter to launch SirDavis, a new whisky brand that’s set to shake up the industry!
This first-of-its-kind partnership brings together two major powerhouses with a knack for design and perfection!
Knowles-Carter partnered with the LVMH company after learning about her great grandfather Davis Hogue. She learned he was a farmer and moonshiner during the prohibition era. Reportedly, he would hide bottles of whisky in cedar trees for his friends and family to enjoy.
Though her name may not be on the packaging, but the hints and odes are clear as day. The SirDavis bottle is a showstopper. A black medallion featuring a bronze horse adds a touch of elegance and paying homage to Knowles-Carter’s Texas roots. And of course, her last two major albums. (We could spot Reneigh from anywhere!)

Adding to the Southern charm, SirDavis is bottled in the music icon's home state of Texas. Not only is Beyoncé repping her home state in all the right ways, the star is making history once more, since SirDavis is Moët Hennessy’s first spirits brand developed entirely in the United States. With Houston, Texas behind you, you can do anything!
Out had the chance to taste the whisky ahead of its release, and we can say for certain that Beyoncé has never steered us wrong. The whisky has notes of toffee, cinnamon, honey, and citrus. At the tasting, we also made Knowles-Carters favorite cocktail called the Honey B... duh! Upon initial tasting we have just one thing to say: You better werk, Beyoncé! It was crisp, refreshing and rich. If LVMH and Beyoncé are going to partner, you know its going to give LUXURY.
"I've always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whisky and wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling," Queen Bey said in a statement about the release of SirDavis. "When I discovered that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man, it felt like my love for whisky was fated. SirDavis is a way for me to pay homage to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy. In Partnering with Moët Hennessy, we have crafted a delicious American whisky that respects tradition but also empowers people to experience something new and unique in the category. You can taste it better than I could ever tell you — welcome, SirDavis."
Starting at $89 per bottle, SirDavis is available for pre-order now on SirDavis.com. The whisky will hit retail shelves across the US in September 2024. Now we can all drink like Beyoncé, and that's a good enough reason for a hangover!
