Let's Listen to Every Song on the 'Barbie' Soundtrack
The 'Barbie' soundtrack is THEE album of the summer!
This summer is all about Barbie!!
Not only is Greta Gerwig’s Barbie going to be THEE Movie of the Summer, but its soundtrack is going to be our album of the summer as well!
Back in May, Warner Bros. announced the artists we can look forward to on the Barbie soundtrack, and it’s a list of front-to-back superstars, including artists like Ava Max, Charli XCX, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, HAIM, GAYLE, Ice Spice, Fifty Fifty, Kali, Karol G, Khalid, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, PinkPantheress, Tame Impala, The Kid Laroi, and even Ken himself, Ryan Gosling.
The whole thing is being executive produced by Mark Ronson, and the songs we’ve heard so far are all building a cinematic world we can’t wait to see!
A few of the songs have already been released, and we’ll update this list as more are. Here are all the Barbie soundtrack songs so far!
1. "Dance The Night" by Dua Lipa
This was the first song released from the album and it gives us a perfect look at what we can expect from the movie! Dua Lipa’s disco-infused tune is giving us dance party realness and we want to dance with this Barbie all night long!
2. "Barbie World" by Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice
We were maybe expecting more from Queen of the Barbz Nicki Minaj on this song that samples Aqua’s iconic “Barbie Girl.” It’s cute, but it’s definitely not the slay we wanted. But the music video — that’s pure pink perfection!
3. "Angel" by PinkPantheress
This chill pop song from British singer PinkPantheress brings a different vibe to the Barbie soundtrack. This song has a melancholy sound and strings and might come in at a sadder point in the movie.
4. "Watati" by Karol G ft. Aldo Ranks
Karol G and Aldo Ranks bring some reggaeton flair to the Barbie world with this song from super producer Ovy on the Drums. The video features Karol in tons of super cute Barbie looks, and the song is a total banger!
5. "Speed Drive" by Charli XCX
The hyperpop icon is also bringing some of her signature flair to the Barbie soundtrack.
6. "What Was I Made For?" by Billie Eilish
Grammy-winning singer Billie Eilish delivers a melencholy and existential bop for the Barbie soundtrack!
7. "I'm Just Ken" by Ryan Gosling
"Choose Your Fighter" by Ava Max
9. "Closer to Fine" by Brandi Carlile and Catherine Carlile
Brandi Carlile and her wife sing a new cover of the Indigo Girls' classic for the soundtrack!
10. "Journey to the Real World" by Tame Impala
11. "Pink" by Lizzo
Lizzo adds a splash of pink to the soundtrack!
12. "Man I Am" by Sam Smith
Smith questions what it is to be a man in this bop!
13. "Hey Blondie" by Dominic Fike
14. "Barbie Dreams" by Fifty Fifty ft. Kaliii
Fifty Fifty sample Janet Jackson on this bop!
15. "Home" by Haim
