Pop sensation Chappell Roan's absolutely massive crowd at Lollapalooza on Thursday, August 1 has reportedly made history!
Videos circulating online from the event show the insane scale of the crowd, with tens of thousands of people singing along to "Hot To Go" during her 5pm set.
"Chappell’s performance was the biggest daytime set we’ve ever seen," a spokesperson for Lollapalooza told CNN. "It was a magical moment added to Lolla’s DNA."
Talk about a "Femininomenon!"
The exact number of people in attendance is unknown, but the spokesperson added that 110,000 people attended each day of the festival. Roan's audience has cemented itself as one of the largest festival crowds of all time.
CNN also reports that Roan was initially supposed to play on a smaller Lollapalooza stage, but she was switched to the main stage after organizers saw the momentum following her recent rise to fame. She reportedly swapped set times with Kesha.
Out will be in attendance at Roan's set at Outside Lands this Sunday, August 11.
Roan's star power is just getting bigger and bigger. Her breakout hit "Good Luck, Babe!" is currently sitting at No. 8 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Five songs off of her 2023 album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess are also on this week's Hot 100 chart, and the album is at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
