2024 Out100 honoree Chappell Roan keeps standing up for herself.
The Recording Academy announced on Friday, November 8 that Roan had been nominated for six Grammy Awards, including all of "Big Four" categories: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.
On Saturday, November 9 — one day after the Grammys announcement — Billboard shared a report claiming that Roan had recently parted ways with her management team. The publication subsequently shared the article in an Instagram post, which prompted Roan to react with the following comment:
"Yall suck for this."

Billboard reported on sources who confirmed that Roan had split with her management team. Specifically, the publication named Nick Bobetsky — who had been Roan's manager since 2018 — in the story.
It's not exactly clear, however, why Roan shared this negative comment on Billboard's Instagram post. Recently, Roan has been in the news for her phenomenal debut as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live and being nominated for a total of six Grammys.
Out has reached out to both Chappell Roan and Nick Bobetsky for comment.
Chappell Roan's debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, is on all music streaming services.
