Erivo has hinted at an upcoming project involving new original music for a few months, and it seems like she's now ready to give fans even more bops to play over and over and over again… one might even say: an anthem to "Replay" several times?
"Replay artwork confirmed [heart emoji]," Erivo wrote in an Instagram post along with the official artwork for her new single. "Out this Friday!!!"

And are there visuals and snippets of the song, one might ask? Why, yes, the icon is delivering those, too!
Last Friday, with just one week to go until the release of "Replay," Erivo shared an Instagram clip teasing the new song and what looks like a music video or visualizer for the new track.
Ariana Grande, Erivo's costar in Wicked, previously told Out in an interview (included below) that her favorite songs from Erivo's catalog are actually the ones that haven't been released yet.
"I keep doing this really bad thing where I tease what's coming, but all of my favorites are on her upcoming album… and I'm not kidding," Grande said. "It's un-f*cking-believable."

Erivo also offered a glimpse into this new music era in an interview with CBS News.
"Some of it is autobiographical. Some of it is a train of thought. I love the music that we've made; most of it is very much just me and my voice," she explained. "We've built a lot of music using the sounds that I can make."
Erivo then revealed that "the album is expected to drop this year."
Cynthia Erivo's new single, "Replay," drops Friday, Feb. 28 — and it's already available for pre-save on all music streaming platforms.
