2024 was undoubtedly a powerful year for music. Beyoncé blew us away with her country record COWBOY CARTER, while Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande made our hearts melt with their gorgeous breakup albums.
However, three particular female artists truly took the world by storm with their catchy, relatable, and sexy songs that we can't get out of our heads — and the Recording Academy agrees!
Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Charli xcx had fans around the globe dancing to their viral songs, sweating it out at their sold-out shows, and partying harder than ever before. Plus, all three of these entertainers will be co-headlining Primavera Sound Barcelona next June, so 2025 could be an even bigger year for these artists.
All three of these talented singers secured various nominations at the 67th Grammy Awards, so take a look at which nominations each singer rightfully earned below.
Don't lie — "Espresso," "Please Please Please," and "Taste" have infiltrated at least one or two of your playlists.
Sabrina Carpenter made quite the splash this year and it all goes back to Coachella when she debuted "Espresso" for the first time.
The infectious summer bop kicked off the now-iconic Short n' Sweet era, which saw Carpenter make history as the first act since The Beatles to have their first three top five hits chart in the US during the same week.
The Recording Academy certainly took note of all of Carpenter's success this year and the singer earned six nominations in the main categories, which can be found below.
Record of the Year - "Espresso"
Album of the Year - Short n’ Sweet

At this point, everybody knows the words to "Pink Pony Club" and the choreography to "HOT TO GO!" — so that just proves a superstar has been born.
It's no surprise that Roan is in the running to potentially win multiple Grammys next February, so take a look at all of her nominations below.

Let's not forget Charli's mainstream debut over a decade ago with a string of hits including "Fancy," "Boom Clap," and "I Love It."
Fast forward to today, brat was the pop culture phenomenon nobody could escape, including other A-list artists. Lorde, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Kesha, Tinashe, Troye Sivan, Shygirl, and more incredible singers all hopped on remixes for their own respective collaborations.
Plus, no concert tour has had more viral moments than the Sweat Tour, which Charli co-headlined with Sivan. The "Apple" dance was the meme gift that kept on giving.
