We are witnessing history!

This is HISTORY!

A previously unseen recording of Lady Gaga and Lady Starlight performing at Lollapalooza in 2007, a full year before Gaga's debut album The Fame was released, has been found and released online for us to enjoy!

In 2007, Lady Gaga was known in the New York club scene, but not much beyond that. When she performed at Lollapalooza, it was for a small, intimate crowd — a far cry from the incredibly massive crowds she can pull now whenever she gets on stage.

In the set, Gaga performs songs like the unreleased "Dirty Ice Cream," "Brown Eyes," "Summerboy," "Boys, Boys, Boys," and her massive hit "Paparazzi," which wouldn't be released as a single until two years later in 2009! She and Lady Starlight also do dancing, blow fire out of hairspray cans, and parade around stage.

For the youngins, Lady Starlight is a musician, DJ, and artist who helped to create Gaga's signature look and style early in her career.

The two friends hosted a weekly party in New York called New York Street Revival and Trash Dance, and then later performed as Lady Gaga and the Starlight Revue.

Of course, we're all familiar with Lady Gaga in 2008. That's the year The Fame came out, that's the year she released the songs "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" and became a pop superstar. By 2009, she was performing at the MTV Video Music Awards, breaking records, and being one of the biggest artists in the world, something she still is today!

But this newly resurfaced Lollapalooza video is 2007 Gaga. She's raw and a little sleazy. She doesn't have the high budget and cadre of collaborators. It's just her and Lady Starlight, leaving everything they have on the stage.

Twitter user @ryanleejohnson uploaded the concert footage, giving all of us the greatest gift we've received all year!

This is epic. This is what it really is like to witness pop culture history!
