The 2024 Olympic Games are nigh and after being spotted in Paris, Grammy- and Oscar-winning pop superstar Lady Gaga is rumored to be performing as part of the festivities for the upcoming opening ceremony.
Gaga was seen in Paris on Monday, July 22 by both fans and paparazzi, waving out of her car and walking into to her Paris hotel with boyfriend Michael Polansky.
The games kick off this Friday, July 26th in Paris' Stade de France national stadium. According to Uproxx, Gaga was also recently "followed by Thomas Jolly, the artistic director for the opening and closing ceremonies, on Instagram."
On Monday, the Olympics also put out a press release hinting at potential surprises.
"While most of the entertainment acts remain under wraps, based on the hints so far, we can expect a show on a grand scale with an eclectic mash up of the old and the new," it reads. "Speaking to the media in January, Jolly said that he wants to showcase the contrasting cultures of France, be that opera or rap, thus bringing together all the pieces that form the nation’s diverse cultural identity."
Neither Gaga nor the Olympics have confirmed her potential performance but fans remain hopeful!
