It's time for a new era for Lil Nas X!

Lil Nas X is back like J Christ!

Lil Nas X has released his first single since 2022’s “Star Walkin,” with the terrific new song and video “J Christ.”

We had already heard parts of the song and seen parts of the video, but now, we have it in all its heavenly glory.

After showing the line of celebrity impersonators walking towards a stairway to heaven that we saw a preview of, the beat comes in and the video moves to showing Lil Nas X serving holy c*nt in an all-white outfit as he walks through heaven.

In a clear reference to his Montero era, we follow a pole down from heaven to hell, where Lil Nas X is cooking a cauldron full of human body parts. From there, we go back to heaven, where Lil Nas uses his killer crossover to break Satan’s (who is wearing the infamous “Satan Shoes” that Lil Nas X designed in 2021) ankles as they play a game of one-on-one basketball.

Following Lil Nas’s epic slam dunk, we get to see him dance in a cheerleader outfit, hang on a cross like Jesus himself, and then, become a Noah stand-in when the whole world floods, washing away all his previous eras and starting new.

The song, which reminds us a little of Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble,” is another killer song from Lil Nas, that is ushering in an exciting new era for the artist. It really seem slike he can’t miss at this point, and we can’t wait to listen to this song throughout the rest of the year and see what this new era holds for us.
