Pop star Lil Nas X's new era is finally upon us!
Following the performance of his song "JChrist" earlier this year, X's previous album campaign came to a screeching halt. He later fired his team then took some time to figure out what kind of artist he wanted to be.
But now, the out rapper is gearing up for his new sound. He shared a clip of his new song on social media with a video of him dancing around his bedroom.
"GUESS WHOS FINALLY DROPPING NEW MUSIC NEXT MONTH ?!!" he wrote.
The chorus is giving early 2000s Pharell or Daft Punk energy, then X jumps onto the verses to rap about sold-out tours and Anna Wintour. The number "11.30" also flashed on screen, teasing a release date of November 30, 2024. And in the credits, X confirmed the title of the album as dreamboy.
Fans have plenty to be excited about, but some still had some words for the rapper.
"CUTE BUT WHERE IS DOWN SOUF HOES," one fan wrote.
X responded, "she’s on the album be patient im fighting generational trauma."
